The Wind Continues to Blow

Sometimes it feels like the world is on pause, but the sun has continued to rise, the rain to fall and yes, even the wind to blow. This means that even now Windmills matter! It is wonderful to come alongside organizations in Malawi that are impacting their community.

The vision of Werengani Ministries is to see the community in Kapanga and surrounding villages delivered from poverty by recognizing and fully utilizing their potential as well as available resources to better their lives and those of future generations.  Werengani Ministries will, through its education initiatives, cultivate lifelong growth opportunities that will benefit adults, children and youth throughout their lives.  Werengani is founded on Christian beliefs but welcomes people from all backgrounds. Its impact has majorly been seen by Muslim communities who are majority of patrons at the school.

When the Werengani Ministry contacted us we asked the founder, Madalitso Tizifa, to explain how the windmill would be used this was his reply:

Thanks for considering Werengani Ministry as a beneficiary of the windmills project. We need the windmill for the following reasons:

1. To pump water from the pond to the reservoir supplying our primary school and employees houses with clean and treated water.

2. To supply our cottage and campsite bathrooms and toilets with clean and treated water.

3. To irrigate the vegetable, maize and rice gardens in order to generate income by selling some of the produce.

4. To supply water to the livestock pens.

5. To extend the clean water supply to the community around the ministry's premises.

Windmills make a big difference and You make it possible to make windmills.

Thank You!
